On 23 June 2025, over 120 veterinarians from across Malaysia gathered at the Swiss-Garden Hotel, Kuala Lumpur for the seminar “Core Veterinary Insight: Strengthening Knowledge and Understanding Disease”, organised by Bionote and supported by KOTRA.
The seminar featured a series of expert-led sessions covering:
Feline Cardiomyopathies: Current Insights and Clinical Approaches
Dr. Norhidayah Noordin (UMK) provided an in-depth look into diagnosing and managing feline heart diseases in general practice.
Unravelling the Complexity of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)/ Recent Insights on Emerging Feline Viruses
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Farina Mustaffa Kamal (UPM) presented current understandings and diagnostic strategies for FIP and a discussion on newly identified or re-emerging feline viral threats that may impact clinical outcomes.
Anaemia in Cats and Dogs: Interpreting the Clinical Pathology Results Holistically
Dr. Azalea Hani Othman (UPM) highlighted the importance of integrating lab findings into clinical decision-making in anaemia cases.
The event also introduced Bionote’s newly launched Vcheck C10 and H6 analyzers, with hands-on product displays, interactive sessions with product specialists, and even win 2- month trial sessions through the lucky draw.
We are proud to have successfully brought together the veterinary community for a day of meaningful learning and connection. Feedback received was overwhelmingly positive, and we are already looking forward to our next event.
