My Vet Care Sdn Bhd, together with Bioiberica (Spain), successfully hosted seminars “Advancing Companion Animal Health: Joint, Gastrointestinal & Immune Support” on 27 October in Johor Bahru and 29 October in Kuala Lumpur, gathering more than 150 veterinarians across both sessions. The full-day seminar was led by Dr. Sergi Segarra, R&D Project Manager in Animal Health, who shared valuable scientific insights focused on three important areas of small animal health: joint care, gastrointestinal health and immune support.
Dr. Sergi began with an overview of osteoarthritis in dogs and explained how chondroprotective ingredients help manage pain and support mobility, highlighting the role of Condrovet®. The session then moved into gastrointestinal health, where he presented data on how Proenteric® Advanced and Enterochronic® help restore gut balance in both acute and chronic diarrhoea cases and how Givet® protects the stomach lining. The final session covered Impromune®, supported by multiple studies showing its benefits in various conditions requiring immune support.
The seminar also featured an interactive Q&A and a Mentimeter quiz session, allowing veterinarians to recap important learning points in a fun and engaging way. The high level of participation and thoughtful questions throughout the event made the sessions especially meaningful.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Sergi and Mr. Sergio from Bioiberica for their strong collaboration, and to all the veterinarians who joined us and contributed to the discussions.
My Vet Care remains committed to bringing research-backed, innovative solutions to the veterinary community, and we look forward to organizing more educational events in the near future!
